Golf Teachers Programme
Background
Welcome to the Secrets of the Swing. The programme was developed to help golf teachers improve their effectiveness.
Students who follow the programme will be expected to gain a better understanding of the mechanics of the golf swing and in turn to be able to share this information with their students.
Analysis
A golf teacher must observe and analyse a student’s swing before offering any advice and corrections.
It is during the analysis the teacher can use their knowledge and experience to best effect and to help the student improve.
Teaching
Teaching is a series of inter-related observations and instructions which aim to assist the learner to improve their golf swing.
The instructional sequence described in this workbook is designed to provide a meaningful structure and flow to the process as well assisting the teacher to understand the important components of effective teaching.
